We’ve come up trumps with the Queen’s favourite fizz; Ridgeview Sparkling Wines for our summer pop up. Chris Staines Supper Club kicks off. Father’s Day sees us put a new spin on our Sunday lunch putting Dad’s at the head of the table. And Masterchef winner Ping Coombes hosts a one-day takeover of Allium as she presents both lunch and dinner with Chris Staines.

    • 1st June – Great Western Wine Dinner with Quinta Do Crasto

      It’s time for another team up with our favourite wine people in the South West… Great Western Wines! This time they’ve sourced fabulous Portuguese wine direct from the Quinta Do Crasto vineyard in Douro about two hours from Porto. Executive Chef Chris Staines has been hard at work matching indulgent and inventive dishes to the wine ready for the night. This is one not to be missed if you like traditional Portuguese reds.

    • 7th June – Chris’s Staines Supper Club

      Join Chris Staines for dinner in a brand new experience that’s just shy of actually going to chef’s house for dinner! Chris will lovingly prepare all the food and then sit and eat alongside you, in an intimate gathering of good company and even better food.

      Father’s Day sees us put a new spin on our Sunday lunch putting Dad’s at the head of the table.

    • 22nd June – Ridgeview sparkling wines with GWW

      If it’s good enough for the Queen, then it’s good enough for us! We present an evening on the terrace in association with Great Western Wines for you to try a taste of true British fizz. Forget about Prosecco or even Champagne, it’s all about sparkling wine from our own fair isle. Tickets are available direct from Great Western Wines, and come with canapés from the Allium Kitchen.

    • 23rd June – Ping Wan Coombes Takeover, Lunch

      For the whole day we’ve let loose the loveliest Masterchef winner the town has ever seen on Allium’s kitchen. Ping Coombes is teaming up with Executive Chef Chris Stains to offer a delicious lunch in association with the Theatre Royal featuring pan-fried sea bream with south-east Asian delights all from Ping’s upcoming cookbook Malaysia.

    • 23rd June – Ping Wan Coombes Takeover, Dinner

      Then in the evening, Great Western Wines join us to help match their wines with Ping’s recipes to create a fabulous Malaysian feast. Tickets for both events are available via the Abbey Hotel.
