    • JULIEN TRIMBACH WINE DINNER WITH GREAT WESTERN WINE

      The Trimbach family started growing vines in Alsace almost 400 years ago, and we are delighted to welcome Julien Trimbach (13th generation) to present a tasting dinner of his family’s wines. The menu will be specially prepared by talented Allium head chef, Rupert Taylor, whose impressive CV includes Michelin-starred Newbury Manor, two-starred Whatley Manor and Heston Blumenthal’s three-star The Fat Duck at Bray. You will have the opportunity to taste what may be the world’s finest white wine – the legendary Clos Sainte Hune – and we will raid the cellar for something special to demonstrate just how fabulously Trimbach wines can age.

    • JUNE SUPPER CLUB WITH RUPERT TAYLOR

      Tuesday 20th June, 7-11pm

      £35 per person

      Head chef of Allium, Rupert Taylor, returns to Igloo and invites you to join him for a special ‘Fish Night’ supper club.  Expect fresh, seasonal ingredients and meticulously matched wines as we join together, dinner party style, to enjoy three delicious courses of Rupert’s favourite food.

    • GRAIN TO GLASS: TASTING WITH KETTLESMITH BREWERY

      Wednesday 28th June, 6-8pm
      Igloo, Abbey Hotel

      £20 per person to include six tasting beers and six large canapés

      Join the team behind the local Kettlesmith brewery for an informal evening of craft ale tasting and food pairing, led by owner and head brewer Antony Field. This is a fabulous opportunity to taste six of the Kettlesmith ‘line’ series beers and learn a little about the process involved from an experienced and passionate beer sommelier.

      Rupert Taylor’s July Supper Club explores international street food in all it’s fruity and fun forms, with flavours to accompany sunshine-filled days. Served in a ambient dinner party setting in the stylish Igloo, expect charismatic hosting, delicious wines and excellent company.
